Wow, it's been some time since my last post. ^^;
I've returned to my flat not much later. My ankle improves rapidly with the help of physiotherapy, I can walk indoors without a brace or the help of crutches.
The appointment with my doctor today was very positive as well. He declare my ankle healed, I only have to work on the muscles and the duration of activity. ("If the ankle hurts and is swollen in the evening, you've done too much during the day" OK)

The coming days I'll be leaving the crutches behind, and maybe dare to get on a bike?

My father was my life-saver.

He managed to get my old laptop working again *glomps him*
It took hours tinkering with the old laptop and his own computer
but he did find a way to install the operating system.

I'm very relieved.
I feared to have done something only professionals good make right again.

... I won't ever be trying such actions with my new laptop.
(I need supervision at least ^^; )
 

I originally intended to just sketch various pictures of cats on bookshelves... ended up connecting and colouring them to get a clearer view on them (I choose to ignore the mismatched depth ^^; and the first cat definitely needs some improving)

I made another birthday card for my mum.
We both like cats and since I gave her a couple bottles of dubonnet as a present...
The writing is "Happy Birthday Mum" in Dutch

This afternoon my cousin gave birth to a little baby girl. I'm ecstatic to say I'm now officially godmother of Charlotte *bounces* I'm really overjoyed.

I've made a card for her birth and taken a photo of it.
The text is in Dutch and translates to "The treasure at the end of the rainbow"

The colours are not entirely the same (I'm no good at photographing ^^;) but you get the right idea ^_~

The last day of 2017, already I'm counting down to the new year. 

The image I created for december on my calendar a couple of days ago turned out to be very fitting, thick flakes of snow are falling down as I write this ^________^

Because I ran out of bread (any excuse really) I tried out a new recipe from Rachel Khoo:
Millefeuille with strawberries, cucumber, goat cheese and basil. I made the more savoury version with tomatoes instead of strawberries as well.
I need more practice with it (it was my first time using filo pastry as well) but I was happy with my first try, it was very yum.

Updated for 2016, it hasn't changed much though ^^; 

Mostly to keep an overview of what I could want,
