drawing Library of Cats

I finally drew the Library of Cats, an idea I have been sketching for some time.
At the moment I've got the drawing and started colouring/painting.  I’m not sure how much more I want/can do.
Do I paint the books? I already decided to keep the shelving white instead of the oak I had first in mind.
The grey cat on one of the top shelves turned out darker than I preferred.

I’m afraid the picture will become too dark if I add the final outlines...
Perhaps I’ll decide on that tomorrow.

Oh, it turned out very nice!
I would indeed keep the shelves white. It would make it darker if you color them as well.

Sometimes it's good I cannot sleep.
The colouring was much harder than the drawing (too awake and thinking about it I presume ^_~)
